This lovingly restored 400-year-old building in the parish of Beauworth sits at the top of Millbarrow Down, formerly the site of a Bronze Age barrow cemetery. The Milbury is at an intersection of ancient trackways and would have been a welcome resting place for all travellers, just as it is today.
